67 Animals Adopted

Saturday was a long and busy day, but we are excited to share that we found homes for 67 animals on August 19 as part of the national Clear the Shelters event, topping our 2016 total of 64 adoptions in one day.  We did such a good job clearing our shelter that there was room in one of our cat enclosures for all of our staff to celebrate!

With the “Clear It Forward” pledges from our generous community, as well as donations made as part of our bake sale and yard sale, we raised more than $11,000.  Thank you to all our adopters and our donors for helping us clear our shelter!
