• Cats are required to be up to date with rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and dogs are required to be up to date with rabies and Distemper vaccinations in order to have surgery.
• Please choose the clinic you would prefer to use, bearing in mind that we may be sold out. Once you have purchased the voucher, it must be used at the selected clinic. The vouchers expire after three months from the date of purchase, and fees for vouchers are non-refundable. You are responsible for making the appointment with the veterinarian.
• Pre-surgical blood work is required for animals aged 7 years and older for an additional fee, paid to the vet hospital. A separate appointment may be required for these animals prior to the surgery date to collect a blood sample. Pet owners pay any requisite office visit fee to the clinic for this appointment.   
• This special community program fee includes take-home pain medication, an e-collar if needed (as determined by the participating veterinarian) and a pre-surgery exam on the day of surgery.
• The special community program surgery fee does NOT include vaccinations, microchipping, other medications (such as antibiotics), overnight fees (if required), additional care for surgeries that are complicated by conditions such as pregnancy, obesity, cryptorchidism, etc. If the veterinarian determines that any of these issues apply, you will be responsible for any additional fees.
• You must provide ID verification to the veterinary clinic to prove you are the person listed on the voucher.
• Vouchers must be purchased in person during our business hours at our facility at 4101 Eisenhower Ave., Alexandria, VA 22304. Please bring your photo ID. We accept cash, check, or card as payment.
