Loyal Friends Sustained Giving Program

When you sign up to make a recurring donation to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria — be it quarterly, monthly or even weekly – you are making a commitment that allows us to do more. You give us the ability to plan ahead, so we know that we can provide food, veterinary care and so much more to the animals in the shelter.  As a Loyal Friend, you can choose $10 or any amount that fits your budget, and your contribution with be automatically charged to your credit/debit card, or you can pay be electronic check. This sustained support is vitally important to keeping our shelter open and running, and offers great benefits to you, the donor.

Recurring gifts offer a variety of benefits:

Donor Convenience

• Recurring gifts require you to sign up online one time only. The gift will be charged monthly or quarterly as specified until you indicate otherwise.
• Recurring gifts mean you can donate more to animals in need because you can spread your payments over a year.
• Donors who make a recurring gift receive less postal mail: As a recurring donors, you will receive limited solicitations in the mail from the AWLA but you will also receive three newsletters per year to keep you informed of new shelter developments and highlight our wonderful companion animals.

Reduced Administrative Cost

• Recurring gifts require less administrative oversight, allowing us to focus the greatest amount of support to our companion animals.
• The continuous funding provided through recurring gifts enables us to plan programs according to our known revenue streams.

Pawsitive Environmental Impact

• Recurring gifts limit the amount of printed material we generate and reduce our environmental impact. Thank you for showing your concern for our companion animals as well as our environment!
