Howl-O-Ween took place on Saturday, October 26 at Riverside Taco Company with a full and festive crowd of people and pups. It was a beautiful fall day for corgis in cow costumes, a puggle pikachu and more, all competing for the titles of Most Creative Costume, Best Human/Canine Combo Costume, Best Homemade Costume and Fan Favorite. Let’s meet the winners!

Thank you to our panel of judges from Frolick Dogs and Whole Dogz who helped select our winners from the very competitive pack of pups and provided some of our amazing prizes.

Howl-O-Ween also marked the release of our 2020 Photo Calendar, featuring Alexandria’s Animal of 2020 Abby and over 100 animals who entered the contest to support animals in need. Abby attended the release, followed by her Paw-parazzi of course, and encourages everyone to stop by the AWLA to purchase Alexandria’s cutest photo calendar. Calendars are $15 each or 2 for $20, and all proceeds support animals in our community.
