Host a Donation Drive
Hosting a donation drive to collect food, toys and other animal care items is a great way to help animals in need, and the AWLA has everything you need to host a drive at your event, business, community organization or among friends any time of year.
Items from this wish list are needed by animals in our care any time of year. You can view more of our wish lists HERE.
- Fleece blankets (no knit blankets or quilts please)
- Wet cat food with gravy (in cans OR pouches)
- Wet dog food with gravy (in cans)
- Food and formula for kittens
- Dry food for dogs and cats
- Cat and dog treats
- Kong toys (especially Large and XXL-sized)
- Kong Jumbler toys for dogs, or other food puzzle toys
- Bully sticks and pig ears
- Cat toys, including feather toys, balls, noisemakers like rattlers and jinglers, scratching toys
- Toys for small animals, like hamster and guinea pig tunnels and houses
- Peanut butter
- “Squeeze” cheese
- Martingale collars
- Easy-Walk Harnesses (especially Large and XL-sized)
Once your drive is complete, just drop off the supplies at our shelter during our business hours.
