We want to thank the many community businesses and organizations who have chosen to support Alexandria’s animals this holiday season. Find a list below of ways you can participate:

• District Dogs is hosting “Home for the Howl-i-days” and matching donations to the AWLA up to $10,000. Click here to donate and have your donation matched by District Dogs.
• Priority Automotive Group is sponsoring adoption fees for all small mammals and adult dogs and cats here at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria through the month of December.
• Springfield Animal Hospital (6580 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA) has a Giving Tree in their lobby and some of Alexandria’s animals are included. Stop by and choose an animal’s wish list ornament from the tree, and shop for their gifts. Return the presents to the Springfield Animal Hospital for them to deliver.
• Dine at District Biscuit Company (3401 Mt. Vernon Ave., Alexandria, VA) and choose to round up your total. All round up amounts will be donated to the AWLA through December.
• Pawsh Dog Wash (4907 Brenman Park Dr., Alexandria, VA) is collecting dog, cat, and rabbit food for our shelter animals. Stop by during their business hours and drop off a donation.
• MAVPAC is hosting a holiday donation drive through an Amazon Wishlist. The Wishlist supports us, the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, and the Alexandria Police K9 Unit. You can find the link to the MAVPAC wishlist here.
