Christ Church Annual Blessing of the Pets

In honor of St. Francis, who loved all of God’s creatures, our annual Blessing of the Pets will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, in the churchyard. Animals of all shapes and sizes are welcome.
As in previous years, there will be special prayers for beloved pets who have died and their retired collars, leashes, and photos may be brought for blessing.
At the blessing, Christ Church will accept donations for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
