AWLA Adoptions at Port City Brewing Company’s DOGTOBERFEST

We will be joining our friend at Port City Brewing Company and Frolick Dogs to host an adoption event at their first outdoor dog party, DOGTOBERFEST! A portion of the day’s proceeds will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
DOGTOBERFEST will be held from 12-8 p.m. in the parking lot outside of the Port City brewery, with activities throughout the day for dogs as well as people. Along with the AWLA’s adoptable pups from 1 to 3 p.m., you will also find a bulldog kissing booth, agility course and other local organizations that support our animal friends! Dog Trivia will also be held from 3 to 5 p.m. outside so dog friends can attend AND Santa will be there for dogs to get their holiday photos.
The Frenchman Food Truck will be there to feed humans and Woofbowl, a dog food truck, will be there serving food for the dogs!
This FREE event is open to the community. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome (no flexi-leashes please).
