The Del Ray Artisans are back at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, this time with their new show “Around The Next Corner,” as part of their Galleries Without Walls program. From the Artisans’ webpage:
This is this fifth exhibit at the animal shelter. Del Ray Artisans member artists present artwork interpreting what might be waiting for us as we walk through life. Artwork will be presented in a family friendly, two-dimensional format using a variety of mediums and styles. All artwork is available for purchase and immediate possession. Participating artists are donating 40 percent of each sale, which is shared equally between Del Ray Artisans and the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria—both 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Funds from this exhibit support future Gallery Without Walls exhibits.
Visitors are welcome to view the art any time during the shelter’s normal operating hours. A reception for the art show will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 7pm to 9pm. The reception is open to the public and will feature a discussion about the exhibit’s themes and works.
