First Night at the Torpedo Factory

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) and UpCycle Creative Reuse Center have teamed up again in the north hall of the Torpedo Factory. Children can paint, draw or create a collage of one of the on-site animals for adoption. Each creation will be photographed and a group will be selected to be displayed on both organizations’ Facebook pages for friends to “Like.” The design with the most “Likes” overall wins an AWLA Executive Director led tour of the Shelter for up to 20 guests and a gift certificate to UpCycle Creative Reuse Center. This is a free event.
