Group Volunteer Program

Welcome, Volunteer Groups!

The AWLA loves to work with companies and organizations who want to support animals and our community! Group efforts can help us tackle some of our biggest and most necessary tasks, and we are grateful for your help. Because these group efforts often require the purchase of specific tools or supplies, we ask that all of our corporate volunteer groups contribute a donation to the shelter, whether it be a monetary donation for an impactful onsite project, sponsoring one of our adoptable animals or providing the supplies required to complete their offsite project. 

We are happy to work with you and your team to create a custom project that will be meaningful for you and make a big difference for animals in need. Examples of past projects include landscaping our dog play yards, creating and distributing enrichment toys for our animals and building shelving to organize all of our Pet Pantry items for the community.

In addition to your group project, your team will also have the opportunity to meet some of our awesome adoptable animals, tour the shelter and take part in a hands-on training demonstration.
