One of our rural rescue partners asked for help for a dog who was in really rough shape. He had a horrible skin infection – with sores and scabs all over him. And his eyes would need to be removed when he was healthier, due to bilateral pigmentary keratopathy (a disease of the cornea) in both eyes and suspected chronic dry eyes as well.
Caesar received excellent care (and snacks) from AWLA staff and volunteers. He started to feel and look so much better. He recently underwent surgery to have his painful eyes removed.
Today, Caesar looks like a whole new dog!
He appreciates everyone who supports the AWLA and helped him heal!
Caesar’s transformation was made possible because of donor support.
