Paws to Read, the AWLA Book Club
The Paws to Read Book Club is about connecting with our community about a topic we all love — animals!
General Information
We will pick a new animal-themed title each month, and the reading window will take place over the course of that month. Books will be a mix of fiction and nonfiction, but they all will be at an adult reading level. Readers under 18 can join with a guardian’s permission, if they are prepared for an adult-level book and discussion.
There are two ways to take part:

- Join our closed Facebook group to be part of a month-long online discussion.
- Participate in our live Zoom discussion at the end of the month.
You can join us in either format or both — whatever feels most comfortable for you.
And we know that some months are busier than others, so if you miss a month, it’s not a problem! There is no club membership requirement, and we hope to see you next month.
