Pawsitive Action Club: Fear Free Practices

Pawsitive Action Club! A club for students currently enrolled in Middle School, designed to allow students to become familiar with the shelter and instill animal compassion and advocacy in their everyday lives.

PAC Meeting Dates and Topics:

Meetings will be held at 5:30 pm to 7 pm on the dates below. Additional dates and topics will be scheduled throughout the year.

• October 22nd – Fear Free Practices: Cat and Dog Body Language
• November 12th – Pet Care: At our Shelter and in our Community Programs
• December 10th – Tales about Tails: Our favorite memories and stories about adoptions and reuniting pets with their families!

There is a club membership fee of $5 per meeting for each student. Students can attend all of the meetings or choose to register to attend club meetings about specific animal welfare topics that interest them most.

Requirements:

• Student is currently enrolled in Middle School
• Student must have permission from their parent/guardian
