Community Care Clinic for People & Pets

FREE Vaccinations for Pets AND Services & Supplies for Humans

Join the Animal Welfare Leagues of Alexandria and Arlington on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at Four Mile Run Park for our Community Care Clinic for Pets & People. Attendees can receive free vaccinations for cats and dogs against rabies, distemper and parvovirus, dewormer, preventatives, basic exams, nail trims, pet supplies and more. Neighborhood Health will also provide COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone 12 or older; ID or insurance is not required, but children must have an adult or guardian present to receive a vaccine. All cats will receive a 1-year rabies vaccination. Dogs with a current rabies vaccination are eligible for a 3-year rabies vaccination. If requesting a 3-year rabies vaccination for your dog or a 3-year distemper vaccine for your dog or cat, please bring a copy of vet records/current rabies certificate to the event.
The event will be held in Four Mile Run Park behind MOM’s Organic Market, next to the tennis courts. Use the address 3831 Mt. Vernon Avenue to locate MOM’s, or see the map on the flier below.
