Not everyone can adopt, but everyone CAN be a superhero on August 17 to help the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria Clear the Shelters!
On August 17, the AWLA is proud to once again team up with NBC4 and Telemundo44 to take part in the nationwide Clear the Shelters adoption event. On this momentous day, we will waive fees for all adoptable animals to find families for as many pets as possible!
But to care for pets all year long, we need your help! Adoption fees cover a variety of costs here at the shelter, from food and shelter to veterinary costs and special medications. We are waiving these costs on August 17 to Clear the Shelter, but you can make a pledge today to Clear It Forward so we are able to provide this love and attention to all of Alexandria’s Animals, every day of the year.
