Help us fill our new freezer with treats for our shelter animals! A generous donor gifted us a large new freezer to store food in, and we’d love to start the new year with a freezer full of stuffed Kongs. We’d also like to make sure all the animals in our shelter get a Kong stuffed with goodies for Christmas! Our Executive Director, Megan Webb, has had a change of plans and is happy to be able to host this event.
If you’d like to help in this effort, please RSVP to come to the shelter on Christmas Day at 12pm using our Facebook event page. Space in our classroom is limited so if you’d like to attend, please sign up now!
We are asking you to bring as many Kongs as you can (preferably a minimum of five Kongs of which at least three should be large or extra large black Kongs) and a bag of high quality treats (for example: Zukes).
If you cannot attend on the day, you are welcome to drop off Kongs and/or treats between 9am and 2pm on on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
Our goal this year is to give every animal a Kong, and fill our new freezer to start the year off with lots of toys.
