Spring2Clean: Today from 2-5 P.M.

Today is Spring2Action, and we’re celebrating with a little bit of spring cleaning! We’re on the cusp of our 70th anniversary — and a shelter can accumulate lots of stuff in 70 years time. So we’re holding a Spring2Clean rummage sale to help find good homes for all the good stuff we no longer need.

From 2 – 5 p.m., we’re lining up all the stuff we’ve pulled from the shelter and our storage shed in our parking lot and inviting ANYONE AND EVERYONE to come to 4101 Eisenhower Ave. in Alexandria to take any items you can find a use for. We have desks, random knickknacks, cat carriers, filing cabinets — anything you can image! All items are free to good homes. Donations are encouraged and all donations made will count toward our Spring2Action total.

Can’t make it to Spring2Clean but want to show your support for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria? Donate to our Spring2Action page!
