Humane Education

*Please be aware that the Humane Education program is running very limited activities until further notice*

Every year, hundreds of young animal lovers learn more about the the animals in our homes and backyards through AWLA’s Youth Programs. Schools, civic clubs, scout troops, summer campers and other area youth benefit from the AWLA’s experienced staff and friendly residents. Shelter tours, after-school activities and birthday parties are all designed to educate as well as entertain. Often very fun and cuddly, AWLA residents also have important lessons to teach about commitment, care and compassion – to students of all ages.
