Oscar travels the world
01/04/2009

Oscar travels the worldHello, I adopted Oscar (C-17706) back on Sept 8, 2001. Since then, I have volunteered at Animal Rescue organizations and I know how nice it is to know that animals in your care are doing well in their families. So, I'm sending you a few pictures of Oscar. After a few years in Virginia, Oscar accompanied me to Japan (with his "brother" - rescue from VA). He enjoyed it very much and we stayed for 4 years. During the 4 years, he was a willing foster brother to various cats/kittens who came through our home and has acquired 2 Japanese "siblings" (both rescues/fosters, now adopted by me). We are all now back in the U.S., in the L.A. area. 1 of the pictures shows him looking out the window and the other shows him in one of his favorite nap positions, with one of his Japanese "siblings". Oscar has had some problems with urinary crystals and even had to have surgery but he is doing fine now with prescription food. He is a very big cat; very loving and extremely laid back. He likes to be brushed but hates to have anyone touch his paws, making claw trimming a challenge! I am so very happy that he's with me. Good luck in all that you do for the animals,
